GigaDevice GD32 Chinese ARM MCU uses flash protection. GD32 decryption bypasses it to recover firmware.

GD32 Protection:
- Read protection (RDP) blocks flash readout.
- Debug interface can be locked.
- Firmware cannot be dumped after protection.
- Option bytes control protection level.

GD32 Decryption Methods:
1. Voltage Glitching: glitch VDD during RDP check.
2. Clock Glitching: fault flash controller.
3. Decapsulation: read silicon die directly.
4. Side-Channel: power analysis during access.
